I started my passion for golf as an 8 year old at Vicars Cross Golf Club in Chester. I represented Cheshire at Junior and senior level. I continued my education and after gaining an A-level in Psychology I completed my PGA Qualifications at Merrist Wood and graduated from Kingston University in Golf Studies. After coaching roles at Carden Park, Guildford Golf Club, The Golf Studio and The Downshire I joined Cranfield Golf Academy and reached Level 4 out of a possible 5 Levels in their coach-training programme. Prior to this my coaching was influenced from working with two former Ryder Cup players. N1Golf was the next natural step for me and this has seen me attend regular training sessions which qualify me for PGA CDP points for continued learning. In 2008 I coached the Berkshire Girls Birdie Squad for the English Women's Golf Association and have been selected to direct the coaching for the Berkshire Girls Golf Academy in 2009. I also hosted a corporate golf day on behalf of Throgmorton Financial Services for 22 golfers at Foxhills Golf Club with guests from Citi group, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Deutche Bank and Lloyds TSB. Players enjoyed 2 clinics, a par 3 tournament, 18 holes and advice on how they could improve their performance. In 2009 I have presented my coaching style to other Professional Golfers at a recent PGA seminar. I have attended many seminars myself such as David Leadbetter, Anthony Robbins, Paul Hurrion, and Paul Chek covering swing technique, the mind, putting and biomechanics/nutrition. With a total of 28 years experience in golf and 15 years as a full time coach I have developed a simple, fresh approach to helping players acquire the skills they need to be successful at any level. Being part of the N1Golf team has enabled me to work with highly qualified people in my field and this environment means my coaching is enthusiastic, enjoyable and very rewarding.
